1st Platinum LEED certified property in Abu Dhabi

1st Platinum LEED certified property in Abu Dhabi: The International Investment Bank (IIB), investment bank based in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the development of a state-of-the-art mixed-use property project, Platinum Green Building located in Danet Abu Dhabi in UAE's capital. This real estate development at the value of Dh1 billion is the first of its kind in the MENA region.

Aabed Al-Zeera, CEO, IIB, said, "Our decision to invest in this project was a result of Abu Dhabi's market projections for real estate in the coming years which ensure a high potential of return to our investors".

IIB has successfully registered the real estate development for achieving the LEED Platinum Certification under the exacting guidelines of the US Green Building Council. Platinum Green Building in Abu Dhabi is a 21-storey twin-tower building with 2 podiums and 3 levels of basement. One of the towers will be offer office units while the other will consist of residential apartments.
